Fall 2017 Umbra Institute Weekend Excursion
LAKE GARDA – SPLENDORS OF NORTHERN ITALY
Verona – Torbole – Peschiera – Sirmione – Desenzano – Mantova
In Fall 2017 Umbra will be running its semester weekend excursion to the picturesque and majestic region of Lake Garda in Northern Italy. The trip also includes visits to romantic Verona and and historic Mantova. Lake Garda is quite large, and surrounded by mountains and beautiful lakeside towns that have charmed foreign visitors for centuries. The southern lakeshore is a low with rolling hills that gradually gives way to the dramatic fjord-like scenery in the North with its towering mountains and cliffs. Lago di Garda is considered one of the most beautiful places in Italy and often overlooked by student travellers. But now is your chance to participate in this unique and enchanting weekend experience.
The dates are from Friday, September 15th to Sunday, September 17th
This weekend trip is open to all participants and the one opportunity to travel in Italy with all your fellow students.
This trip includes round-trip transportation in private coach from Perugia, round-trip ferry to Peschiera, Sirmione, Desenzano, 2 nights lodging at a 4-star hotel, including dinner and breakfast on both days. Note: If you are a vegetarian, or have any allergies to food, please let Umbra staff know so they can notify the restaurant at the hotel.

All students will also receive an email reminder from Laura as well. And in case your uncertain, there will also be an opportunity to discover more and sign-up during Orientation in September. Payment is not due until after arrival in September.
Good News! If you are part of the all-inclusive option you are automatically added to the optional trip.
