Umbra Honors and Academic Excellence Awards
This page is dedicated to Umbra participants who have demonstrated outstanding academic performance. To qualify, students must have enrolled in full-time study (13 credits or more) and have successfully completed the Honors Program or a semester program with a GPA of 3.8 or higher. The awards include:
- The Honors Program Certificate (H) – Awarded to students who have successfully completed the Umbra Honors Program. Honors program students with a GPA of 3.8 or higher are also recognized in either the High Distinction and Distinction awards.
. - With High Distinction – The highest of all honors, this recognition is awarded to semester students with a 4.0 GPA, or the top 3% of their class.
. - With Distinction - Awarded to students who have completed the semester with GPA of 3.8 or higher.
