Prof. William Pettit’s Fresco Painting course takes their daytrip to Rome today to look at the frescos of the masters in search of some inspiration for their own. Every semester students first learn about the theory, process, and technique that goes into the creation of each fresco painting, and then spend the second half of the semester actually creating their own in the Umbra Institute’s own fresco studio in Via dei Priori.
