SUMMARY:Umbra Optional Trip: Pompeii, Sorrento, Capri, and Naples!
DESCRIPTION:     Umbra Students head down south to an area by the Amalfi coast\, one of the most spectacularly beautiful parts of Italy.     Friday – Depart Perugia early and arrive in Pompeii for a guided tour of the ancient city before heading to Sorrento for a relaxing evening.     Saturday – Take a ferry ride over to the isle of Capri for a full-day excursion at leisure and return to Sorrento in the evening. Walk and explore the island with its towering rocky cliffs and beautiful island seascape. Visit the villages of Capri and Anacapri or take an optional boating excursion to the famous “Grotta Azzurra” (Blue Grotto).     Sunday – Depart Sorrento in the morning for a guided excursion of the major sites in the ever-Italian city of Naples. After lunch\, return to Perugia in the late afternoon.     Cost of trip: 300 Euro     This package includes roundtrip transportation (private coach\, ferry to and from Capri)\, tour guides in Pompeii and Naples\, entrance fee to Pompeii ruins\, as well as two nights at a 4-star hotel in Sorrento\, including dinner and breakfast on both days.     If you are interested in signing up for this trip\, you may do so upon your arrival in Perugia.  For questions or more information\, contact Regina Tingle at rtingle@umbra.org.  Please note that once you sign up for the trip\, refunds or cancellations may not be available.
