You learn efficiently when you feel good inside a group, when you feel relaxed and confident in class, when you when you know that people around you appreciate your work, when you see your progress. I think a good teacher should know how to create the best conditions to help students to learn.

Curiosity to discover a new culture, a new way of life; courage to open themselves up to the new context, to new friendships; playfulness and open-mindedness to be able to learn a new language like a child.
Favorite Teaching Moments
I love when my students start understanding and making jokes in Italian and when I have some evidence they use Italian with each other outside the class.
