The Business of Food: Italy and Beyond (with Prof. Nowak)

Credentials
Ph.D. from London Metropolitan University and M.A. from the London Business School. Extensive experience in executive management and business consulting in various areas worldwide.

Teaching Philosophy
In the Industrial era experience was generally highly valued whereas in the present I.T. era it is creativity and intelligence that are most highly valued. Hence I consider my lessons to be successful when I learn something new from my students and my students learn something from me.

Most Enjoyable Moments at Umbra
I am most pleased when my students possess the courage and resolve to reach beyond their own limits and thereby grow well beyond their expectations. I often see undergraduate students at Umbra resolve difficult case studies as well as many MBA students.

Its also very rewarding to reflect on the difference in my students at the beginning and end of he course. In the best cases I sometimes wonder if their friends and parents recognise them when they return home after their time here. I also enjoy getting messages from prior students telling me how well their careers are progressing, well or not.
