The Amalfi coast – Splendors of Southern Italy

WHERE:
In Spring 2023 Umbra will be running its semester weekend excursion to the picturesque and majestic region of the Amalfi Coast. The trip also includes visits to Pompeii ruins and the excursion to Positano and Amalfi. The Amalfi Coast opens to the west into the Mediterranean Sea. It is bordered on the north by the cities of Naples and Pozzuoli, and on the east by Mount Vesuvius. Sitting serenely in the Sorrentine Peninsula, Capri is an international tourist destination, offering crystal clear waters, unspoiled landscapes, cultural sites, and many other surprises. The Isle of Capri is famed as a classy and beautiful holiday destination. It’s an island of myths and history. The Amalfi Coast is considered one of the most beautiful places in Italy and often overlooked by student travelers. Now is your chance to participate in this unique and enchanting weekend experience.

WHEN:
The dates are from Friday, March 31st to Sunday, April 2nd

This weekend trip is open to all students and is the one opportunity to travel in Italy with all your fellow students.

WHAT’S INCLUDED:
This trip includes round-trip transportation in private coach from Perugia, 2 nights’ lodging in Sorrento, including dinner and breakfast on both days, a round-trip ferry to Capri, a guided tour to Pompeii, and the excursion to Positano and Amalfi. Note: If you are a vegetarian or vegan, or have any food allergies, please let Umbra staff know so they can notify the restaurant at the hotel.

COST: $ 480

HOW TO SIGN-UP:
Sign-ups will start on January 30th till February 22nd. No subscriptions will be taken into account before that date. Your subscription won’t be completed until payment is received. Payment deadline: February 22nd.
