THE BAY OF ISCHIA– SPLENDORS OF SOUTHERN ITALY
Pompeii – Capri – Ischia – Naples
In Spring 2019 Umbra will be running its semester weekend excursion to the picturesque and majestic region of The Bay of Naples in Southern Italy. The trip also includes visits to Pompeii ruins and the historic city center of Naples. The Gulf of Naples opens to the west into the Mediterranean Sea. It is bordered on the north by the cities of Naples and Pozzuoli, on the east by Mount Vesuvius. Sitting serenely in the Gulf of Naples, Ischia is an international tourist destination, offering crystal clear waters, unspoiled landscapes, cultural sites, and many other surprises. The Isle of Capri is famed as a classy and beautiful holiday destination. It’s an island of myths and history. The bay of Naples is considered one of the most beautiful places in Italy and often overlooked by student travelers. Now is your chance to participate in this unique and enchanting weekend experience.
The dates are from Friday, April 5th to Sunday, April 7th
This weekend trip is open to all students and the one opportunity to travel in Italy with all your fellow students.
