The Republic of San Marino and the Rimini seafront
This spring, Umbra will be taking students abroad and back again in one day to the smallest – and arguably the oldest – republic in the world, San Marino. This medieval town, with its fortification towers, walls, gates, and bastions, is perched on Mount Titano. Here you will be able to enjoy a breathtaking view of the surrounding hills and the Adriatic Sea. In 2008, UNESCO added San Marino and Mount Titano to the World’s Heritage List.
After a quick lunch with piadina, a delicious local stuffed flatbread, we will head to Rimini, a coastal town where students will have the opportunity to take a walk at the seafront, and have a coffee or gelato before heading back to Perugia.
Sunday, March 31st
All students are welcome to participate in this grand adventure along with your Umbra friends and classmates.
This trip includes round trip private transportation, cable car to San Marino, a two-hour guided tour in San Marino, entry tickets to two tower-museums, lunch and a beverage in San Marino, and a coffee or gelato in Rimini.
