OPTIONAL TRIP: ONE DAY ABROAD!
The Republic of San Marino and the Rimini seafront
TRIP DESCRIPTION:
This Spring, Umbra will be taking students abroad and back again in one day to the smallest – and arguably the oldest – republic in the world, San Marino. This medieval town, with its fortification towers, walls, gates, and bastions, is perched on Mount Titano. Here you will be able to enjoy a breathtaking view of the surrounding hills and the Adriatic Sea. In 2008, UNESCO added San Marino and Mount Titano to the World’s Heritage List.
After a quick lunch with piadina, a delicious local stuffed flatbread, we will head to Rimini, a coastal town where students will have the opportunity to take a walk at the seafront, and have a coffee or gelato before heading back to Perugia.

All students are welcome to participate in this grand adventure along with your Umbra friends and classmates.
