On December 13, the Umbra Institute hosted the Association of American College and University Programs in Italy (AACUPI) General Meeting.
Over 50 representatives of the American Programs in Italy debated about various topics, including security, permit of stay, and visa procedures for both US students and faculty. In addition, members announced that an AACUPI commission on diversity has been established and will meet in early 2020.
AACUPI’s membership includes more than 150 North American college and university programs located throughout Italy. AACUPI has among its main goals facilitation of the international educational interests of North American university programs in Italy by cooperative effort.
