Every Semester, students enrolled in Professor Antonella Valoroso’s Italian Tales and Stories Creative Writing through Literary Models course share their favorite work with the Umbra community through the end-of-semester Creative Writing Reading event. Last semester, such an event was not possible once students had been sent home but that didn’t keep the group from sharing their stories at a distance! While some of the anecdotes explore topics like learning languages and returning home to the U.S., others verbally paint images of destinations like Perugia or the wild west.
