Course Description
This course introduces the following concepts: Physical quantities and units of measurement. Kinematics and dynamics of a point particle. Work, energy, and conservation law. Law of universal gravitation and Kepler’s laws. Systems of point particles. Momentum, angular momentum, and conservation. Collisions. Rotational and roto-translational motion. Statics of rigid bodies. Oscillations. The course is organized into frontal lectures, exercises, and basic laboratory activities.
