Report Alleged Copyright Infringement

The Umbra Institute regularly receives submissions of photos and images from students in the form of blog and news articles, social media posts, coursework, photo assignments, etc. We inform all our content providers and students to submit only material they have personally authored or to provide appropriate source information or authorized use. As much as we work to ensure all material is authentic and/or free to publish, there maybe material that have been plagarized. If you believe your copyrighted work is being infringed on the Umbra website or on our social media sites, please notify us immediately and we will promptly act to have it removed or properly credited with permission. When you notify us of the alleged copyright infringement, please be sure to include the following information:
• a description of the text and/or image of the copyrighted work;
• the URL link sufficient to permit us to locate the material;
• contact information for you, including your address, telephone number, and/or email address;
• evidence of the original content and its author;
• a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on its behalf.

Umbra will promptly remove the material and terminate the online privileges of anyone who purposefully infringed on the copyrights of others.
