Luca Mariani holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Perugia, where he has conducted research in environmental and behavioral economics. His research focuses on individual preferences and behavior related to energy and sustainable mobility, using stated-preference methods and behavioral experiments.
He is passionate about interventions that can encourage more environmentally friendly behavior, while keeping an eye on the broader systemic issues that drive climate change and inequality.
He has extensive international research experience, mostly in the UK and Austria, together with teaching experience in environmental and behavioral economics.
