The Spring 2026 semester has officially begun, and we are delighted to welcome our largest cohort of students yet. Here’s a look at what happened during the first week at school.
Immersion Italian Week marks the start of the program, with all students enrolled in Italian language classes tailored to their speaking level. This intensive introduction helps students quickly gain practical language skills and feel more comfortable navigating daily life in a new environment—and it’s fun, too. Teachers often act as tour guides, visiting multiple locations around town together with students: from learning how to navigate the Minimetrò to ordering caffé. Learning a language means getting out there and trying, and this week is designed to encourage exactly that.
Student information sessions provide essential guidance on academics, school resources, and expectations, ensuring students understand how to structure their semester successfully. Student Life, Volunteering, and Community Engagement info sessions introduce opportunities to connect beyond the classroom, including volunteering options and student-led activities that encourage cultural immersion and meaningful local engagement.
The Moving Around Perugia Workshop helps students learn how to use public transportation and navigate the city safely and independently, giving them the tools to feel at home from the start. All sessions are designed and led by school staff and are informed by feedback from past semesters.
As this new group begins building friendships, routines, and connections within the local community, we wish all our students a successful and enriching Spring 2026 in Perugia.
