Ciao, io sono Luana, sono un’insegnante di italiano a stranieri.

I studied ancient languages and literatures before getting interested in teaching Italian as a foreign language. For this reason, I decided to take a specific master’s degree at the University for Foreigners of Perugia.

After the master, I did academic research in the field of Italian as L2 for one year. At the same time, I taught learners from different origins, particularly Slavic and American learners.  I have also obtained a high-level certification for teaching Italian to foreigners.

I love my job and languages in general, I am very attentive to students’ interests and their needs, and I like to combine fun and culture during my classes, in particular music and languages.
